Sophie has a strong skillset and passion for helping businesses thrive, which allows her to be an advocate for clients of both divisions of Bluegrass Investment Company: Retirement Plans, which supports businesses with their 401(k) plans, and Legacy Advisors, which serves business owners with financial planning, exit planning, tax planning, and trustee services.
She’s known among the firm’s clients for her friendliness, helpfulness, and quick problem-solving abilities – in short, she’s always ready to connect and assist.
Sophie’s educational background is in business administration, and she earned a bachelor’s from Murray State University and a master’s from Midway University.
She joined the Bluegrass Investment Company team in 2024 following a Marketing Coordinator role with the Woodford County Chamber of Commerce.
Calmer of Chaos
Sophie was born and raised in central Kentucky. She is a proud graduate of Woodford County High School and continues to root for the Yellow Jackets.
After earning her undergraduate degree, she moved to downtown Lexington, KY, which she loves because of its walkability and close proximity for visiting friends and family around the state.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Lexington, crocheting, fitness, thrift-store shopping, and spending quality time with her family. She is also involved in the Distinguished Young Women of Fayette County program, which allows high school girls to earn college scholarships.
As the youngest of four daughters, she learned early on to embrace the joyful chaos that comes with life. These skills translate well to her professional life, where she’s known for her optimistic approach to solving any challenges that arise.
